Cedar Valley Cheese Photography

Cedar Valley Cheese, a Wisconsin-based producer known for their premium cheeses, needed a fresh batch of high-quality photography to support a wide range of marketing efforts. Their existing image library was outdated and limited, making it difficult to tell a cohesive, compelling brand story across channels. With a new website on the way (designed by Dynamic), they wanted visual content that matched the same elevated standard, spanning social media, digital, and print campaigns.

Dynamic led the creative direction for a multi-day photo shoot that showcased Cedar Valley Cheese’s products in their best light, literally. Partnering with photographer Nicholas Mira and food stylist Kathryn Conrad, we captured a mix of product and food photography that reflected the brand’s quality, craft, and culinary versatility. From prepping the shot list to planning how each image would be used across platforms, our team ensured every photo served a purpose.

The client was onsite for the shoot and thrilled with the results, especially after seeing their signature cheeses come to life on set (and fill multiple industrial fridges in the process).

   Individual cheeses were styled and lit to perfection, highlighting texture, shape, and packaging for use across web, digital ads, and print. We also provided expert photo retouching to ensure every detail looked just right and created a series of GIFs to bring subtle motion and visual interest to their digital presence.

   We staged dynamic, delicious tabletop scenes to show how Cedar Valley Cheese fits into real-life recipes, boosting appetite appeal and scroll-stopping potential. Our team captured both stills and GIFs to give their social content extra versatility and engagement.
